The
Pasquini olive oil mill produces olive oil that is only pressed from
hand picked olives in areas particularly vocated to olive cultivation.
The excellent quality of the olive oil is guaranteed from the selection
of the olives, from the almost immediate pressing of the olives in
the mill, with extraction by mechanical cold press method which gives
a high nutritive value.
Extra virgin olive oil is by now considered an essential ingredient
and element found on the table of every good eater. The Pasquini family
invites everyone to visit the mill in the period of November and December,
to taste new olive oil just pressed. The restored antique farm houses
situated on agricultural land, represented the frame which better
values the healthy tradition of olive oil.
The history of the mill is profoundly tied to the Pasquini family,
who are the owners since 1920 - the year of its foundation. The old
oil press was situated in the historic centre of Reggello, where now
stands the Albergo
Italia.
In 1973, under the direction of "Nonno Attilio" the mill
was moved to the Fornacina zone, where the factory was constructed
and a modern oil press was installed with "Pieralisi" machines.
These machines have provided the business with a notable development,
both in terms of quality and quantity, that can satisfy the continual
increase of request from Clients that are more aware of the quality
of oil.
The tradition continues
